Christmas is the Season for Giving
Dear Friends,
Friends of Egyptian Children with Cancer has joined “Giving Tuesday”, an international day of giving to charitable causes that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. “Giving Tuesday” is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 2, to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
The cost of medications in Egypt to treat poor children with cancer is extremely high, especially after devaluation of the Egyptian Pound.
All the FECC board members are volunteers and there are no employees. Its overhead is minimal. 70% of the raised funds are spent to buy medications, and 30% on the Oasis, the first residential, supportive, educational and recreational facility in Egypt for the children and their families to stay in during the children’s treatment.
Your donation to FECC, gives the children an opportunity to get treated, recover and live a healthy and productive life.
Thank you in advance for your generous donations to FECC on “Giving Tuesday”.

December 2025
Dear Friends of Egyptian Children with Cancer,
We sincerely thank you for your unwavering support and generosity. Your commitment truly makes a difference, and we couldn’t achieve our mission without you.
It’s heartening to see so many Egyptians living in the States come together to help sick children in Egypt. Your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed, and we pray that God rewards each of you abundantly for your selfless acts.
During our recent visit to Egypt, we witnessed firsthand the struggles many families face in securing basic necessities. The heartbreaking reality is that countless parents cannot afford the medications essential for their children’s recovery. Imagine the despair of having a sick child and being unable to provide the care they urgently need.
Many families in Egypt depend on our support.
As the giving season approaches, we encourage you to consider including Friends of Egyptian Children with Cancer in your year-end donations. Your contribution will not only provide critical medications for children but will also bring hope and emotional support to their families during some of their most challenging times.
Together, we can create a profound impact on the lives of these children and their families. Thank you for being a beacon of hope.
We wish our Christian members a Merry Christmas and all our members a happy, safe, and prosperous new year.

2025 Donations
Would you be willing to make a tax deductible donation of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us provide care for Egyptian children diagnosed with cancer in Egypt?
We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are still in need.
Funds raised by our organization are spent on programs that benefit the children of Egypt. Moreover, our board includes four physicians from world-class institutions like the MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospitals. These physicians’ knowledge of cancer treatments in Egypt and the US is critical in making informed decisions about the medication and education programs to fund. It is important to remember those who are less fortunate than us. Please consider donating to Friends of Egyptian Children with Cancer.
